Hi, my name is Julie. I am a celebrant…and a storyteller.
My job - and my passion - is to give people the freedom to come together to mark a life event in a way that is beautiful, unique and memorable.
Where am I based?
I live in Woking, Surrey close to Guildford and the beautiful Surrey Hills. However, I will travel anywhere in the UK or beyond to ensure you get your perfect ceremony.
What makes me and my ceremonies unique?
I’m passionate about my work and about creating the perfect ceremony. I’m hardworking, I care, and I love to tell stories. Does that make me unique…nope! I can be creative, inspiring, flexible…does that make me unique? Not really.
What makes you unique?
Now that is the question I like to ask. I feel my skill is in finding out what makes you unique and then tailoring your ceremony around your uniqueness.
We all have a story to tell and I will work with you to learn yours or your loved ones story and then craft a ceremony which brings together the moments, memories, music and other elements that truly capture the story of the people involved in a beautiful, totally original and personal way.
This can be as traditional or unconventional as you wish it to be!
My Role?
My role is to support, guide and be the person you need me to be both prior to and on the day.
Your Ceremony Your way
With a Civil Ceremony, you can include religious, cultural, or spiritual elements to make it entirely individual to you and your family.

Julie has a very calming and soothing manner and is very well suited to the role of celebrant. In the light of such a positive experience I would be happy to recommend a celebrant to friends and Julie in person, should a specific recommendation ever be sought
From the outset it was obvious that Julie was caring and competent. This immediately put us at ease and helped us to cope with the preparations.
Julie was absolutely lovely . She portrayed my mum as if she had known her. It was perfect. She took on board everything I had said. When there was a problem with one bit she had misunderstood she changed it straight away.
On the day she came straight up to me and my family to make sure everything was okay.
The ceremony was a joyful remembrance for all who attended, and Julie’s input was central to it. The service we planned, with her valuable input, went perfectly and everyone said how much they enjoyed it. At such a difficult time you can never foresee how emotions will affect you, but Julie had a Plan B in any event.
