Wedding Celebrations

A Wedding or Partnership Celebration is a joyful occasion and perfect for those wishing to do something a little different.  If you’ve always dreamed of a destination wedding but wondered how you family would react then by organising a wedding celebration for when you return enables them to be involved and share in your special day.  It may be that you live away from your family so would like to organise something closer to home or to have an evening ceremony so that all your family and friends can attend. 

Having a wedding celebration enables you to have choice.  Choice of venue one that is licenced for weddings or one that is not licensed.  A inside venue or an outside venue. A venue that is truly meaningful to you, a venue where you can come together to share your story with family, friends and loved ones. 

There a lot of reasons to chose to do the legal part first and then celebrate with family and friends all of which can be discussed when we meet.

During the ceremony you can choose to exchange rings, make your vows to each other, include a symbolic gesture such as a hand fastening.  You can also include music, poems and involve friends and family. 

A Wedding Celebration is perfect also if you are of mixed faith and would like to include elements of each other’s faith, a hymn or a prayer. 

NB: This is not a legally binding ceremony you will need to do the legal part first this can be on the day or sometime before.  Contact your local authority and enquire about a statuary or simple ceremony at your local Register office.

Commitment Ceremonies

A commitment ceremony is like a wedding celebration but without the need to be legally married.  Perfect for those who wish to declare to their family, friends and wider community that you are committed to your relationship but wish to forego any legalities.

The ceremony can include all the same elements as a wedding celebration and is a perfect opportunity to come together to share your story with friends and loved ones

Vow Renewals

What better way to celebrate a special wedding anniversary than to say ‘I still do’ in front of your family and friends.  As with all my ceremonies I like to encourage friends and family to be involved.  You can choose the venue, somewhere meaningful to you, a venue where you can come together to share your story with friends and loved ones.  You can include readings, poems and music.  You can also include rituals and traditions that perhaps you were not able to do so the first time round
